A.O.S. SUNY Erie Program

This collaborative program provides an effective career path for automotive technicians to obtain a degree in Applied Automotive Technologies.  Classroom studies are coupled with hands-on, real-life experience in the dealership which provides employment and mentoring for the student during and following their education.

Course Details 
Students are in the classroom for 7.5 weeks and alternate in a Northtown service department for 7.5 weeks, over the course of the 2-year program.  The purpose of the program is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and experience to be a successful automotive service technician, and to afford them practical opportunities to sharpen their skills and abilities, while providing paid mentoring in a dealership environment.  

This unique process provides mentoring, paid on-the-job training, tool allowances, tuition reimbursement opportunities and manufacturer certification in addition to the SUNY Erie curriculum.  Northtown is excited to have partnered with SUNY Erie and their staff.
